Stand with Nurses to Honor Alex Pretti & Others Lost to ICE Violence 01/30/2026

Friday, January 30th a peaceful rally and vigil led by Whidbey Island nurses to honor their fallen colleague, ICU nurse Alex Pretti, and others who have been killed by ICE was held in Coupeville, WA.

Alex Pretti was doing what nurses are trained to do, help and protect others from harm, when he was killed in Minnesota. Nurses across the country are grieving his loss and standing together to demand accountability, transparency, and an end to violence that puts lives at risk. We also honored all those whose lives have been lost during aggressive immigration enforcement actions.
